Los Angeles Siding & Stucco Contractor. the envelope that hides the leaks.
Most LA homes wear stucco — and most of that stucco was installed without a proper weather-resistive barrier, kickout flashings, or two layers of paper at penetrations. When it eventually leaks (around windows, at the slab, into the framing), the repair is a real construction project, not a patch.

About Siding & Stucco in Los Angeles
We re-skin LA exteriors with three-coat stucco, fiber-cement lap, and wood siding — always over a properly detailed WRB assembly, with kickouts, head flashings, and weep at the slab.
What we resolve before drawings begin.
- 01
Weather-resistive barrier as an assembly
Two-layer Grade D paper or equivalent house wrap, lapped correctly with flashing tape at every penetration. This is the difference between a 30-year exterior and a 5-year leak.
- 02
Kickout flashing at roof / wall intersections
The single most common LA stucco failure point. We install copper or stainless kickouts every time, retrofitted on remodels.
- 03
Title 24 + LADBS for >50% re-skin
Full re-skins trigger Title 24 envelope upgrades (insulation, infiltration) and a LADBS permit. We scope these into the contract.

Los Angeles · Siding & Stucco FAQ
Questions Los Angeles homeowners ask first.
Start an LA siding or stucco brief. We'll review the existing assembly, leak history, and a fixed-scope contract.
What does a Los Angeles stucco re-skin cost?
Most LA full three-coat re-skins land $18–$32 per sq ft of wall, including paper, lath, scratch / brown / color coats, and trim detail.Do I have to use stucco?
No — fiber-cement lap (James Hardie) and natural wood are both popular LA alternatives. Each has different fire-zone and maintenance implications. Can you fix stucco cracks vs full re-skin?
Yes — we assess whether you're looking at surface crazing (cosmetic), settlement cracks (structural movement), or moisture failure (re-skin territory) during feasibility. How long does an LA siding or stucco re-skin take?
Typical single-family three-coat stucco re-skin runs 4–8 weeks on site, including scaffold, paper and lath, three coats, and color cure time.Do I need a LADBS permit for siding work?
Re-skins over 50% of an exterior wall, structural sheathing changes, and envelope insulation upgrades trigger a LADBS permit. Cosmetic patch work usually doesn't. We pull what's required.
